Thanks in advance for your support and we hope to see
everyone there!
As the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, I believe that churches, parents and volunteers have the awesome responsibility of participating with and leading our youth to a brighter future. At Calvary UMC we trust that our ministries are glorifying our LORD by reaching out to our middle school and high school students and teaching them Biblical principles that will guide them through life. If I can ever be of service to you or your family please let me know how I can help. Together, with God's help we can all strive toward a successful future for our youth. Philip

Youth Praise Band
|
Our church offers the opportunity for our youth to serve in praise and worship leading through our youth praise band. |
| Youth Sunday |
Periodically our youth lead the regular Sunday morning worship service. This is a great opportunity for our youth to demonstrate their faith and leadership.
|
| Sunday School |
Is available during the school year
|
| Other opportunities |
Youth handbells, youth ensembles, dramas and other opportunities are available.
|
| Service Projects |
Are available throughout the year for our youth to participate in and show their talents.
|
| Mission Trips |
Several times a year our Church offers out of town trips for our youth. It is a time to serve others and to grow spiritually. Traditionally these are separate trips for Middle School and High School students.
A commitment to work at our Cookie Factory and other service events helps finance these trips.
There are other shorter youth events that range from "Snowcamp" to Youth Rally Retreats.
|
| Cookie Factory |
One of our biggest fund raisers of the year is the Cookie Factory. Approximately once a month our Youth and Adult volunteers bake cookies for the Naval Academy. This long standing tradition has been a great service to the USNA, and helps our youth raise funds for mission trips while learning to commit and work together for a good cause.
