Calvary is proud to be a partner in the Winter Relief program and shelter site. Through an all-volunteer effort, Winter Relief has operated as an Emergency Temporary Shelter since 1992. Hosted at different Anne Arundel County religious facilities each week from late October through April, the shelter is a safe & comfortable refuge for those without a home throughout the coldest months of the year. Each facility provides services, meals, and spiritual guidance to the guests during their designated week. Join us in this unique opportunity to share our blessings with those less fortunate.

Volunteering for Winter Relief is an experience that will touch your soul for “just as you did for the least of these who are members of my family, you did to me”. Open your minds & hearts to a new experience. Those of you that have, know the love that this service brings to others.
